Sadly, we learnt this week of the passing of one of our members, Leon Worley. Leon had been with the patrol for just over five years. Leon was one of our most loyal, committed and reliable patrollers. Serving his community was really important to him, and he was one of our ‘go to people’ if we had a shift vacancy arise at short notice. Health issues had prevented Leon patrolling during the last year, but he remained deeply committed to the patrol, attending patrol functions whenever he was able. Leon will be sorely missed.
